25,000 PEOPLE WATCH MR. BOJAGI
In a strictly limited online release on the website
Dailymotion more than 25,000 people across
the world watched Mr. Bojagi in full.
The film also generated unprecedented media
coverage for a short film - appearing across
commercial radio and the BBC (including a day
as the main featured story on the BBC England website homepage).
The producers would like to thank everbody

After success at so many festivals, Mr. Bojagi is moving on to the next stage - wider distribution.
Too many short films go unseen by the majority
of the film-loving public. We want to put that
right, so we’ve teamed up with the website Dailymotion.com who will host Mr. Bojagi in
HD for a strictly limited online run.
The film will launch on the Dailymotion.com

AWARDS BONANZA
Well...three....
The Mr. Bojagi team have had an incredibly
busy 24 hours. Yesterday they attended the
London Independent Film Festival’s awards
ceremony - where Mr. Bojagi was presented
with the Jury Award for ‘Best Short Film’ - then
they shot down to Bournemouth just in time to
catch the British Independent Film Festival’s
ceremony. This time Mr. Bojagi came away
with the ‘British Lion Award’ for achievement
in film and a ‘Best Actor’ for Brian Blessed.
Our huge thanks go to both incredible festivals.

SURPRISE GUEST AT LONDON PREMIERE
Brian Blessed made a special appearance at the
London Independent Film Festival’s screening
of Mr. Bojagi last night. Together with director
Marco van Belle he took part in a Q&A after
the screening.
The film (and Brian) got a brilliant reception at
the Roxy Bar and Screen. Our thanks go to
festival director Erich Schultz for making it all
happen.

LONDON PREMIERE ANNOUNCED
Mr. Bojagi will premiere in London at the
London Independent Film Festival (LIFF2010).
The festival is known by many as the top even
for micro-budget films in the UK - an indie film
festival for indie filmmakers.
The festival takes place between the 15th and
27th of April.

MANCHESTER SCREENING
Mr. Bojagi has made the official selection of
Kinofilm, Manchester’s European Short Film
Festival. The festival is in it’s eleventh year
and will take place over between the 27th of
April and the 2nd of May at the AMC Great
Northern Cinema.

‘BEST ACTOR’ AWARD
The British Independent film Festival has
announced that their 2010 ‘Best Actor’ award
will go to Brian Blessed for his portrayal of
Mr. Bojagi. This is another huge boost to the
film from a festival that has already awarded us
their ‘British Lion Award’ for best achievement
in film.

MR. BOJAGI WINS GOLDEN LION
Mr. Bojagi has been awarded the Golden Lion
Award at the British Independent Film Festival.
The award honors ‘Best Achievement in Film’
and Mr. Bojagi beat off competition from a total
of one thousand other shorts and features.
The award has been announced in advance
of the festival, which takes place in April in
Bournemouth.

MR. BOJAGI HEADS TO BRADFORD
Mr. Bojagi is honored to have made the official
selection of this year‘s Bradford International
Film Festival. The festival is held at the stunning National Media Museum and runs from the
18th to the 28th of March.
This year the festival will present actor John
Hurt with a Lifetime Achievement award.
The filmmaker Nicolas Roeg will receive the
festival’s Fellowship Award.

SAN FRANCISCO FESTIVAL
Mr. Bojagi has been selected to screen at the
International Children’s Festival in April.
The festival is part of WonderCon, Northern
California’s largest comi-book and popular
Culture convention. WonderCon regularly
attracts more than 30,000 over just two days.
This year the event is on April 10th and 11th.

WORLD PREMIERE CONFIRMED
Mr. Bojagi will premiere at the Boston Sci-Fi
Film Festival in early March 2010. The festival
has been running for 35 years and will screen a variety of shorts alongside new and classic
features between the 5th and 15th at the
Somerville Theatre.
The festival culminates with the ‘Thon’ - a 24
hour marathon of films which will include
Moon and District 9.

NEW FESTIVAL SCREENING ANNOUNCED
Mr. Bojagi has made the Official Selection of
the International Family Film Festival (IFFF).
The festival takes place at Raleigh Studios in
Hollywood, California from the 11th to the
14th of March 2010.
Mr. Bojagi is the only live-action British short
to be selected and will compete alongside ten
other films in the Short Drama category.
The IFFF is in it’s 15th year and is sheduled
to screen more than sixty films.
Raleigh Studios is home to several high profile television shows, including ‘Ugly Betty’ and
‘The Closer’.
